 ROUNDS You will start the stage with the rifle loaded with 10 rounds and the hammer down on an empty chamber and staged to the left side of the prop. The pistols are loaded with 5 rounds each hammer down on an empty chamber and in your holsters. The shotgun is empty with the action open staged to the right side of the prop. You will need 6 shotgun shells to be carried on your person. THE STORY You are looking for strays when you see a bunch of “owl hoots” driving some of the Lazy B cattle away from Tab’s ranch. You decide to intervene and since you are on the ground decide you have the advantage in being able to move around and pick your best shots! STAGE SEQUENCE At the buzzer, move to the left of the prop and using your rifle 3 tap R1, 4 tap R2 and 3 tap R3. Place rifle on prop, action open, muzzle pointing downrange. Move to the center behind the prop. Draw first pistol and starting on the left pistol target shoot P1, P1, P2, P3, and P3. Holster first pistol and draw second pistol. Starting on the left shoot P3, P2, P2, P2 and P1. On the second pistol you may substitute the riffle targets for a bonus of 5 seconds per hit. Any miss is scored as a standard miss. Holster pistol, move to the right of the prop and 3 tap both shotgun targets in any order. You must keep firing until both targets have been hit 3 times. When completed proceed to the unloading table. PROPS AND TARGETS This stage will require 3 rifle targets, 3 pistol targets and 2 shotgun targets. The rifle targets are placed 20 yards away. The pistol targets are placed 8 yards away. And the shotgun targets are placed 9 and 12 yards away.
